Since 1982, Mitre Blue Light has carved out a tradition of continuous research, innovation and development in the provision of operational footwear and associated clothing, designed specifically for unique demands of the emergency services’ work.
In so doing, we have also built a reputation for excellence. Currently supplied to approximately 70% of UK constabularies, our products also offer protection and performance to fire and ambulance services, as well as the British Army Special Forces.;
All of Mitre Blue Light’s products have been independently tested and our;
meet the rigorous demands of BS7971-5-2005 Type 2 Level 3, for use where violence is expected. We have also developed a flame-retardant sock to ensure the wearer’s foot has complete protection from fire.
